MAPPS DXF IMPORT
In a traditional conventional programming system, like CAPS in MAPPS, it normally requires the user to manually enter the geometric entity definition one-by-one in order to form a machining contour profile. The DXF Import function provides a successful solution to the above problem by letting user directly import geometric information of entities from digital DXF files.

MORI-POST
Designed by using the latest technologies Mori-Post is a fully customizable post processor for CAPS and Mori-AP. As an integral part of the new MAPPS, Mori-Post allows users to perform post processing of their CAPS part programs to generate optimized Edit-free NC code to fully utilize the machines.

SIMULATION
The Mapps IV Simulation feature was originally developed here at DTL and new features such as Machine Simulation with Collision Detection are also powered by DTL. DTL Simulation supports 1-2 head machines on Lathe, Mill and Integrated Machine types and up to 5-axis in motion in Collision Detection.

CAM VENDOR COLLABORATION
Mori Seiki and DTL have pioneered in proactively working with the several CAM software vendors in helping them develop post processors for Mori Seiki machines. Working with several top CAM software vendors enables our customers to choose the CAM software(s) of their choice and be able to fully utilize the machines. DTL provides post processor specifications, requirements, and consulting support to the CAM software vendors. DTL also provides assistance in creating realistic machine solid models to our partners, so they can build Machine Simulation solutions as an added benefit for our mutual customers.
